Owner - CEO
Mike Findling has over 40 years of experience as a performer and over 25 years experience as a booking agent.
Mike’s long career in the music industry started with performing in Grey Star (featuring Ruby Starr; formerly of Black Oak Arkansas) for 9 years. In this time they recorded and released 2 albums and performed as the opening act in 1982 for The Who on their final tour. Shortly after that, he formed the group Slave Raider, arguably the Twin Cities Premier heavy metal band, where they recorded 3 albums, 2 on Jive RCA. They also recorded in London in 1988 at the famed Battery Studios. After that he spent 9 years with the Twin Cities band, UKI and finally formed Hairball in 2000 where he performed for 7 years before moving on to management.
Mike’s experience as a booking agent started in 1990 when he worked with Entertainment America. He then moved on to partner with Grey Absey at Absey Entertainment. In 2008 he formed his own company, Time Music Agency, which he left in 2015 to become the Entertainment Manager at Badlands Entertainment Group. Here he worked closely with many national touring acts including KISS, Disturbed, The Offspring, Joan Jett, and more as they performed at the concert venue.
This experience on both sides of the business makes Mike Findling Agency committed to both the artist and the client.
